Ladies, would you wear disposable underwear for your period OR just keep your collection of period panties? So I have a drawer full of panties that I have stained due to coming on my period in them and now I have like a collection of them. My husband got tired of finding them in the dirty clothes (while in the process of washing clothes) and have now went out to purchase me disposable panties so that I can now throw them away instead of collecting them, so my question is....
Would "you" purchase disposable underwear for your period to keep from having a collection of what we ladies call "period panties"? |
| I never wear panties just shove a tampon up there and it takes care of the period days. |
Anyone use the disposable postpartum panties? I'm in my 3rd trimester and am wondering about using the disposable panties for the heavy period right after birth. I HATE the feeling of wearing a pad, so I was hoping that these may be better. If anyone has used them, I'd appreciate your input! |
I bled SOOO much, I used the disposable panties (they were not padded) and pads... it sucked... I HATE pads too, but nothing else worked better than the maternity pads... I would soak a pad in like 2 hours...
GOOD LUCK!!! You might be a lucky one! |
Girls: do you really like to wear disposable underwear while going on a date? My friend tells me that wearing disposable panties makes her feel extra confident. So if she feels like impressing her BF or is looking for a date, she wears disposable panties that day.
I find this strange. What do you say? |
| Not something I would do and I'm not sure I understand your friend there. To me, wearing disposable panties on a date says "I'm not afraid to have sex with you". Kind of a slutty message. |
Where to buy medela disposable panties? used first few days postpartm, Model: 37059 |
| umm...I did not know Medela had those. But I would suggest asking your hospital that you delivered at. They usually sell all sorts of Medela products. |
Where can you buy travel disposable ladies panties? Availabilty in Sydney NSW |
There $3.50 each plus postage. You might as well buy the cheap ones in cotton and throw them away.
At least you wouldn't have to order them. |
Has anyone tried Soothae post pregnancy panties? I just gave birth on March 19th. My sister gave me two packs of Soothae The Post Pregnancy Panty. I wear a large, so there were 9 panties in each pack. They are disposable panty and pad combinations. You wear them like traditional underwear. They are great. I didn't have any stains. I was so comfortable. I just wanted to pass the information on and let other expecting mommies know that Soothae is wonderful. It's been almost three weeks since I delivered my son and I'm still wearing them. |
| I'm sending in a complaint - this is bs - and your third posting ranting about this product in two hours - kinda pathetic |
Do disposable diaper-like period panties still exist? Several years ago, I recall an ad in a magazine for a pink disposable underwear-type garment that was to be used during the period. I think it said it could be used with a pad or tampon, to provide backup support, or on its own for heavy days. It was kind of like a diaper in that it had substantial padding. The ad showed a woman wearing jeans with the top-portion of the diaper sticking out the back. I recall that it was manufactured by one of the leading brands, Stayfree or Kotex. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and whether it is still sold? |
| Plenty of info on that at the Museum of Menstruation: www.mum.org/kotpers.htm |
