Brilliant Brunette? People who have used John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, do you like it? Does it help with frizz at all? Does it cause any build up? I have medium brown hair so for which color hair should i get? The amber to maple? or Chestnut to espresso? thankyou! |
I love the chestnut to espresso. Amazing product!
The glaze is amazing too, better than the shampoo and conditioner IMO. My hair is a medium brown as well. |
Can i use the brilliant brunette conditioner with my normal conditioner? Hi guys im obsessed with Redken extreme shampoo and conditioner, but i want to use the john freida brilliant brunette conditioner. Should i mix both or do the brunette then rinse then redken then rinse..
Ideas? |
noo
i would never mix conditioners or use both of them
if you use too much your hair can get very oily
no matter how thick it is.
so pick one and stick with it :) |
Brilliant brunette?? hi.. i am indian and i have dark black hair. My skin color is moderately fair. I wanted to use John frieda brillant brunette shampoo, conditioner, and color glaze to give my hair more shine. I am not allowed to dye my hair nor do i wish to. Will using these products change the color of my hair or will it just make it shiny. If the shampoo changed the color of your hair, please tell me. |
I have dark brown hair (some ppl think it's black, but it isn't) and I've used that shampoo and conditioner. It's pretty good.
I didn't notice a color change. |
What exactlly is this Brilliant Brunette Stuff? Well I wanted to know what this "brilliant brunette" stuff did. Like how does it work and what does it do? And if my hair is medium brown what color should I get it in? |
| You can find it at any grocery store in the shampoo isle. It comes in either lighter brown shades or darker brown shades. I bought the one that says Chestnut to Espresso ( for darker shades) and I have medium brown hair. It works nice to give your hair color a boost of shine. |
Will John Frieda collection brilliant brunette give highlights if I have black hair and wil it damage my hair? I want to dye and get highlights in my hair but am not allowed to. So I was wondering if the John Frieda collection brilliant brunette will give me highlights if I have black hair and if it will wreck my hair? Also how long will I have to use this product? |
Not really. What these products do is use a gloss color to coat the hair shaft with a hint of color to brighten an already existing color. They're not intended to be used to actually color the hair. For example, a blonde that uses a red based color shampoo (like the John Frieda collection) will not end up with red hair. They'll end up with pink hair. A person with brown hair that uses a red shampoo will simply end up with a reddish tone to their brown hair.
If you're looking for color to add some definition and dimension to your hair, you can try all natural methods like lemon juice (the acidity helps the sun "bleach" your hair) and there are products like Sun In that do the same thing. |
A question about Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner? I have naturally brown hair (most of it has grown out) but there is still some red in it because of dye that I used a few years ago. Some people say that if I use brilliant brunette shampoo and conditioner, that it will cover up most of the red, but some people say it will bring out the red some more.
Could you please help me out here? Thanks. |
| it will bring out every shade of color in your hair, and make it shine. it is an absolutely amazing shampoo! and it smells great! |
Will Brilliant Brunette cover up the red in my hair? Most of my brown hair has grown back, but there's still some red in it from dying it a year ago. Will Brilliant Brunette cover up the red? |
| It won't take out the red, but it will cover it up quite a bit and highlight the brown that you have in it. |
What is the purpose of John Frieda brilliant brunette products?? I know that they're for hair and can be used as hair gel/moose/styling gel, but since there are radiant red, brilliant brunette, and sheer blonde, are these products temporary hair dyes too? If a blonde wears brilliant brunette, or radiant red, will the color of the hair change [temporarily] when applied? Is there a little color tint to it? |
| They enhance the color pigments in brunette, red, and blonde hair. I believe they do have some color tint to it but it's only like mica powder which is REALLY temporary. it washes out with water lol. The glaze is more permanent in my opinion and contains color crystals that bind to the hair shaft and give you more radiant color. |
Can i use deep conditioner with my john frieda brilliant brunette shampoo & conditioner? im using the john frieda brilliant brunette shampoo & conditioner which is supposed to enhance the color of your hair.
this is what i do:
shampoo with JFBB
condition with JFBB
then i put in my deep conditioner once a week after the conditioner (i still use my normal conditioner too) i use the aussie 3 minute miracle.
will that mess up anything that the JF products do to my hair? |
| it shouldnt hurt anything. and btw that 3 minute miracle stuff works pretty damn good! i love it! deep conditioners are a must for healthy hair |
Do Brilliant Brunette shampoos/conditioners darken light brown hair? I have light brown hair (just a bit darker than dirty blonde) and I'd like my hair to look more like a true brown. Just a shade or two darker than it is now would be great! (My mom won't let me dye it because apparently I'm too young lol.) I was wondering, do those Brilliant Brunette hair products help hair look more like a true brunette color? All answers (suggestions, opinions, facts, whatever) are appreciated! Thanks. |
I have medium brown hair, and i've used this shampoo before.
I don't think it made it darker or lighter, but i think my hair looked shinier, and my natural highlights and stuff showed more.
It may make your hair slightly darker, you never know. You might as well try.
If your mum won't let you die it, maybe try a hair die that washes out in a few washes, and she'll see what it looks like.
hope this helps :) |
